About Me

For the past year and a half, I have served as the tween librarian for the New Brunswick Free Public Library.  During that time, I've developed collections and programming for grades 4-8, and support for their families, while also serving the patrons of the Children's & Teen rooms at large.  Before New Brunswick, I worked as a full-time Reference Librarian at the Paterson Free Public Library, helping patrons with job training, computer skills, basic ESL, geneaology searches, filing for government assistance, and so on.  My other areas of experience include Makerspace program development, legal searching, and school library curriculum development.  I obtained my B.A. of English from Villanova University in 2011, and my MLIS from Rutgers University in 2013.  I love librarianship and public service, and more importantly, the opportunities both of these things can offer the neediest folks in our communities!
