Public Library Directors' Summit 2017

Join us for the second Public Library Directors' Summit

Date & Location: Tuesday, October 24th at the Holiday Inn of East Windsor, 399 Monmouth Street, East Windsor, NJ 08520

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Coffee and registration from 9:00 to 9:30 am. Program begins promptly at 9:30.

Network and renew connections with your community of practice among library directors throughout the state!

This one-day event will provide public library directors with best practices and the latest developments in the areas of library law and other public library topics.  

Program topics and content were developed from the results of a statewide survey of public library directors.

  • "The More You Know: Laws that Effect Your Library" presented by Michael Cerone, New Jersey Attorney
  • "Facilities 101: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the Secret Life of Your Building" presented by Michael B. Gannon, Chief Operating Officer, Support Services, Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, Maryland
  • "Connecting Locally: Communicating Effectively with Your Community's Officials and Organizations"
