We've put together an enticing combination of convivial networking with colleagues from around the state, a productive business meeting, and an engaging, practical learning opportunity for staff at all member libraries.

  • Don't Just Survive, Thrive: Sharing Ideas & Opportunities: 10 am - 12 noon
  • Lunch: 12 noon - 1:15 pm
  • LLNJ Business meeting: 1:15 pm - 2 pm

Program: Don’t Just Survive, Thrive: Sharing Ideas & Opportunities

Sometimes we’re so busy maintaining and surviving (it’s exhausting!), that thinking ahead seems like a formidable chore. In a tough funding climate for all types of libraries, we are bringing Coopertive members together to consider that opportunities for creative and impactful work do exist.

Join the team from community engagement firm P’unk Ave for a stimulating morning devoted to mutual support, honest conversation and creativity. By contributing ideas, sharing opportunities and encouraging each other to continue to find effective ways to help those we serve, we can all move forward together.

During and after the program, participants will be able to:

  • Identify and share new ideas for services
  • Discuss triumphs and disappointments
  • Apply the lessons shared by our colleagues
  • Refresh our collective creative spirits

In keeping with our longstanding tradition and belief in the power of good food,
we’ll also furnish a delicious lunch for all!

Our membership meetings are always open to all library staff, but space is limited and you must register.
You don’t need to be a Voting Representative to attend.

Note: VOTING REPRESENTATIVES - Your vote is essential.
We should have you listed as the Voting Representative for your library.
You can double check by going to the Voting Representative List.

Deadline for registration is Friday, November 18th.  REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL.
