What: LibraryLinkNJ Annual Membership Meeting. This event will be limited to a Business Meeting only.

Time:

  • 1:00 - 2:00 pm: Registration & Networking, with light refreshments
  • 2:00 pm: Business Meeting

Please join us and cast your vote in person to be a part of LibraryLinkNJ as we move forward into FY20 and beyond. LibraryLinkNJ’s Staff and Executive Board are currently developing and finalizing the FY20 Budget, Service Initiatives, and Board slate.

  • We will hold a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, May 23 regarding the Proposed FY20 Budget

Who:

  • Voting Representatives:
    • We can only accept votes cast in person, so your presence to vote is essential.
    • We should have you listed as the Voting Representative for your library or school district in our database.
    • You can double-check this status by going to the Voting Representative List.
    • Please complete the Voting Representative Update Form (user login required), if the information for your library needs to be updated.
    • Voting Representatives are being given priority to register first, followed by the general membership. Registration details below.
       
  • Proxy Voting:
    • Due to a petition to change the bylaws and a nomination by petition for Member-at-Large for the Executive Board, we are extending the proxy deadline to Friday, May 31, 2019 at 5 pm.
    • Per our bylaws, a Voting Representative is limited to representing up to two other Voting Representatives by proxy.
    • If you are a Voting Representative and are unable to attend:
      • Meeting registration is filled. 
      • Your proxy must be another Official Voting Representative who is already registered for the membership meeting.
      • Proxy Designation Form for the Spring Membership Meeting 2019 - The Proxy Form is closed.

We must balance three factors affecting registration for this meeting:

  1. Member interest
  2. Ensuring a quorum of Voting Representatives
  3. Maintaining a maximum of 120 attendees in the Monroe Township Public Library’s large meeting room (as mandated by the fire marshal).

As a result, we will open registration to Voting Representatives first, followed by general registration two weeks later:

  1. Registration for Voting Representatives opens Wednesday, May 8, 2019. We urge you to register before May 22 in advance of the opening of general membership registration.
    • Voting Representatives should be listed on our Voting Representatives list and will need to login into their LLNJ User Accounts to access the registration link.
    • If you are a Voting Representative and are not listed, please fill out the Voting Representative Update Form (user login required). Once we update your status, you will be able to login and register for the membership meeting.
  2. Registration for general members opens Wednesday, May 22, 2019

We will announce the opening of both registration periods via email blast and our Forums.
