New LibraryLinkNJ Delivery Vendor Contract Signed on April 23

LibraryLinkNJ has signed with TForce Final Mile (formerly known as Dynamex) as the vendor who will provide interlibrary loan delivery services for LibraryLinkNJ member libraries
Why the LibraryLinkNJ Executive Board selected TForce for the statewide library delivery service:
- They earned the strongest point-based evaluations of all bids responding the Request for Proposal
- They have direct and extensive service serving LibraryLinkNJ libraries

When will the new service start?

The week of Monday, April 30 - Friday, May 4:
- TForce will handle item pickups only at participating libraries
- Expak will complete item deliveries only at participating libraries
The week of Monday, May 7 - Friday, May 11:
- TForce will handle both deliveries and pickups at participating libraries

What Does This Mean for Your Delivery Staff?

Starting Monday, 4/30	TForce will conduct pickups only this week	Label your pickups with the TForce labels found at http://librarylinknj.org/delivery/library-delivery-info Print your Daily Delivery Log for April/May http://librarylinknj.org/delivery/statslog Post the April/May Delivery Log in your delivery area Note the number of pickups Your pickup time may change Show the TForce driver where your pickups are Have the TForce driver sign the Delivery Log
Starting Monday, 4/30	Expak will make deliveries only this week	Separating the pickups and deliveries allows LibraryLinkNJ to make the delivery transition as smooth as possible for participating libraries
Friday, 5/4	Last Day for Expak deliveries	Make your farewells to your Expak driver
Starting Monday, 5/7	TForce will conduct both pickups and deliveries starting this week	Have your Delivery Log sheet ready for the driver to sign Start using the TForce online delivery forms: Problem Report Form, Question Form, Bin Request Form, and Plastic Bag Request Form
6/1 - 6/10	LibraryLinkNJ collects monthly delivery statistics (due by the 10th of each month)	Report your library’s April/May statistics online at http://librarylinknj.org/delivery/stats-report-form

Future updates will cover:

Access to new forms for the following: TForce Problem Reports, Closures, Bin Requests and Plastic Bag Requests. We anticipate these forms will be available on Monday, May 7.
