Product Descriptions

Pronunciator is the most comprehensive language-learning service available. It offers 80 foreign languages; ESL for 50 non-English languages; and full-featured apps for all Android and Apple devices.

Users can learn any of the 80 languages in any of 50 native languages (e.g. a Spanish speaker can learn Chinese in a Spanish context), making for 4,000 possible course combinations.

Within each course, there are up to 13,000 phrases to learn, each neatly categorized by topic and learning level. Learners can work on any of 10 drill types for any item, and track progress with 6 quiz types, which measure every facet of language acquisition.

With a systematic building-block approach, Pronunciator meets the needs of the widest possible audience, from kids to seniors.

For those interested in preparing for a trip, a dedicated learning level, plus downloadable phrasebooks and audio lessons, are available.

And for those interested in cultural and business know-how, thousands of insights are included, culled from a series of guides from the world's leading intercultural publisher.

With a combination of proven "old school" learning methods (verb conjugation, vocabulary-building, quizzes, etc.) and cutting-edge interactive methods (pitch analysis, pronunciation analysis, side-by-side poetry, virtual conversations, virtual coaching, etc.), Pronunciator applies best practices to ensure an engaging, effective learning experience for each user, regardless of age or level.

For educators, Pronunciator offers the integrated Course Designer for easily creating and deploying online exercises to students and tracking their progress.

New in 2015: ProCitizen

If you have patrons who are preparing to become U.S. citizens, Pronunciator's new course, ProCitizen, can help. With 100 instructional videos (all closed-captioned), plus drills and quizzes, ProCitizen guides the learner through all the civics and vocabulary they'll need to know for the Naturalization Test. ProCitizen is an included module in the Pronunciator language-learning database, but can also be launched directly from a web page.
