Question:
We have quotes from website developers who are not on the official list of vendors. Is it acceptable to use a vendor other than those given since we are building a mobile website, not an app?

Answer:
The four vendors (Boopsie for Libraries, LibraryAnywhere, Now in the Library, and Guide by Cell) listed in the description for New Jersey Libraries On-The-Go are the only eligible vendors for the LibraryLinkNJ Mobile Project. The project vendor spreadsheet indicates which vendors offer apps and which vendors assist with the development of mobile websites. With the exception of a member library using their ILS vendor to implement a mobile strategy, we cannot support other vendors through this project. Any ILS vendor is acceptable. We trust that at least the structure of the project will assist any library that develops a local mobile project outside the scope of LibraryLinkNJ’s initiative.

Question:
The application must be submitted as an email attachment but it also requires my/my director's original signature. Do you need the form sent via USPS as well as emailed, or will a scanned copy of the signed page be sufficient?

Answer:
A scanned copy of the relevant page with your signature will work. Thanks for checking!
