Ali Cole

Ali Cole is the Program Manager of VALE (Virtual Academic Library Environment), the NJ Academic Library Consortium. She is also a member of LLNJ’s EDI Initiative Group (EDI-NJ) and ICOLC’s Consortial Awareness Group (CAG). Her previous roles include serving as a school library media specialist, a scholarly communications and outreach librarian, a computing and information technology librarian, a circulation supervisor, and a reference librarian at school, public, and academic libraries.

Ali received her MSLIS with an advanced certificate in Archives from Pratt Institute School of Information and a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Pace University. She also holds a New York State Public Librarian Certificate, a New Jersey State Professional Librarian Certificate, and a Certificate in OER Librarianship from the Open Education Network.
