For a couple of years prior to this position, I worked within the Adult Services Department with a focus on serving community members in their 20's and 30's, including helping with programming like Retro Gaming Day and organizing the Let's Talk About Books discussion group that met online as well as in locations out in the community. And for 7 years before that, I was a teen librarian, active in various professional organizations serving teens and youth. I have a strong interest in and passion for continuing to advocate for all library users, as well as a (personal and professional) love for writing and editing. I have held a number of leadership positions within NJLA, and I am also a member of the planning team that created NJ Makers Day and an organizer of the NJLA Commons series of virtual keynotes.
