About Me

Since 2013, I have been in a supervisory role in the User Services Department, managing and leading over 25 full- and part-time staff involved with circulation and technical services across two library buildings. For a couple of years prior to this position, I worked within the Adult Services Department with a focus on serving community members in their 20's and 30's, including outreach and helping with programming like Retro Gaming Day and organizing the Let's Talk About Books discussion group that met online as well as in locations out in the community. And for 7 years before that, I was a teen librarian, active in various professional organizations advocating for and serving teens and youth.

I have a strong interest in and passion for continuing to advocate for all library users, as well as a (personal and professional) love for writing and editing. I have held a number of leadership positions within NJLA, including Chairing the Conference Committee for three consecutive years, and I am also a member of the NJ Makers Day Board.
