Summer Book Bash: Sunny Stories with Ben Clanton, Andy Chou Musser & Jennifer Holm

Join us for a conversation with children's book authors Ben Clanton, Andy Chou Musser, and Jennifer Holm. All attendees will be eligible for a chance to win a sampling of prizes, including books from each author.

  • Ben Clanton is the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of the Narwhal and Jelly series, whose picture books include Mo's Mustache; Vote for Me!; Rot, the Cutest in the World!; Boo Who?; It Came in the Mail; Something Extraordinary and Rex Wrecks It!. He lives with his wife and kids in Seattle, Washington. He has spent most of my time on this planet reading, drawing, playing basketball, gardening and eating waffles.

  • Andy Chou Musser grew up in a mixed race Chinese American family in Oregon where he was homeschooled in a small house filled with books and art supplies, and surrounded by a big garden. Today, he freelances as a picture book maker and motion graphics designer from atop a cozy hill in Seattle, not far from wild forests and magical woodland creatures. When not in the studio, Andy can be found making music, talking to his house plants, reading library books, and planning adventures.
  • Jennifer L. Holm is a New York Times and USA Today-bestselling children's author. She is the recipient of three Newbery Honors for her novels Our Only May Amelia, Penny From Heaven, and Turtle in Paradise. Jennifer collaborates with her brother, Matthew Holm, on several graphic novel series including the Babymouse series, the Sunny series, and finally, the Squish series. She lives in California with her husband, two children, and three bossy cats named Augustus, Livia, and Calpurnia.

Moderator Kristi Chadwick is a Consultant with the Massachusetts Library System, where she provides training, continuing education, and advisory services across the state. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Library & Information Science at Simmons University.
