Supervises, staff, services and operations at the Richard D. Gardner Branch in Belvidere NJ.
Schedules and establishes daily staff assignments, work priorities, and instruction to staff in the performance of assigned work.
Evaluates employee performance and conduct
Develops and recommends short and long-range plans for program development and operations
Responsible for system-wide collection development and ordering for assigned collections; performs collection management in the branch (weeding, reassignment of materials to other locations)
Responsible for managing branch budgets for staff, supplies, collection, and programming.
Provides outreach to the community served by the branch
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with library and community organizations, the general public, coworkers, and county departments.
Provides professional services for reference, readers' advisory assistance, and training on library software, electronic resources, and equipment.
This is a full-time Librarian 3 position (35 hours a week), with benefits, $54,287
