Hello-
Did anyone else recieve the message from Casey Confoy yesterday about JerseyCat not working because of a problem with Amazon? I'm confused about the link between the two. The article link in the message will only work if you subscribe to the "SeekingAlpha" website. Do the images for JerseyCat records come from Amazon?
On behalf of the Youth Services Forum Planning Committee, I'm thrilled to announce that we are returning this year! We are currently open for proposals! Submit your ideas here: https://forms.gle/vfSSsWWT4vhEXvDK7
This year's Youth Services Forum, the first since 2019, will be a day for youth services librarians from all over the state to come together to exchange ideas and discuss hot topics and issues in library services to children and teens. This year's theme, appropriately, is We're Back: Librarians Get Shh! Done.
We have a patron who is very interested in receiving books in Persian/Farsi. I have tried JerseyCat and searching the separate system catalogs, not having any luck. Does anyone know of or have themselves a collection of books in this language, that might not be catalogued? It would be for adults and for instance she gave me an author's name, Moniro Ravanipour.
If so, could you please email me at lhilf [at] bernardslibrary.org.
Thank you,
Lynne Hilf

Good Morning,
Age-Friendly Libraries are a topic of a pre-conference being presented at NJLA on June 1st.
In preparation of that workshop, we are looking to see if any NJ Libraries have been working with their local or county governments as part of the AARP or other organizations Age-Friendly initiative.
According to the AARP website, the following communities are members of the AARP group:
