Department: Information Technology Department, Voorhees Salary: $27.8298 per hour ($50,650.26 yr) Schedule: 35 hours per week The Camden County Library System serves over 330,000 County residents. Our staff make customer service and community engagement a priority and strives to help communities reach their aspirations through library services. The Camden County Library System is seeking a dynamic IT professional to develop, plan, and organize both hardware and software used by Library staff and its patrons at all eight locations. This can be a physical job at times, requiring the ability to lift 50-80lbs, crawl in tight spaces, use ladders, etc. REQUIREMENTS: Education and experience Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree and Two (2) years of full time equivalent experience utilizing or implementing electronic information systems, analyzing information systems and/or developing procedures for the use of information systems, or providing user support and solving user problems in a help desk or related environment. NOTE1: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated above on a year-for-year basis. NOTE2: A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related area may be substituted for one (1) year of the experience as indicated above. NOTE3: A Master's degree in a computer-related area may be substituted for two (2) years of the experience as indicated above. NOTE4: Twenty-four (24) credits in data processing from an accredited college may be substituted for two (2) years of the education requirement. Part-Time Youth Services Library Assistant | January 29, 2024 | Part-Time Youth Services Library Assistant The Wallington Public Library is seeking a part-time Youth Services Library Assistant. The Youth Services Library Assistant is responsible for the planning, implementing, promoting, running and evaluation of all youth programming and events. The principal duties of the position are performed in the library and in the community. The Youth Services Library Assistant reports to the Library Director. Essential Functions of the Position:

Part-time Library Assistant, Clark Public Library | January 25, 2024 | Job Description: Part-Time Library Assistant Part-time, 20 hours per week. The Clark Public Library is hiring a part-time LIBRARY ASSISTANT. This position will be part-time with a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings and one weekend rotation a month. Applicants must be available to work various shifts. Hours total of 20 per week. Must be available to work at least a 4-hour shift between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Full-Time Adult Services Librarian at Bayonne Public Library | January 25, 2024 | Bayonne Public Library is a newly renovated, century-old Carnegie library interested in continuing to build a new, more active library culture in Bayonne. A large focus of this job is working closely with patrons to conduct research requests, assisting with basic technology needs, and actively participating in imagining and creating new programs and services that support the further development of a new library culture in Bayonne. Responsibilities will include providing support to public and staff at public service desks, assisting patrons in selection and location of services and books, assisting fellow librarians & staff with programming & outreach, and collaborating on the creation & maintenance of a large body of archival materials. Fluency in Arabic or Spanish would be a helpful skill, but is not required. Full-time, 35 hours per week, with two nights per week and 2 Saturdays per month. Requirements to Apply:

Part-Time Library Assistant | January 23, 2024 | Job Summary:The Springfield Free Public Library is looking to hire a part-time library assistant to work at the circulation desk on Saturdays from 9-5 pm (and during July and August: 9:30am-1 pm) with additional available shifts in our circulation desk and technical processing department. Qualifications / Salary:Requirements for the position include having a high school diploma or equivalent, enjoying working with the public, being comfortable working with computers, and being physically able to shelve books.
