Mi-Sun started her work at the cooperative in 2005 as Program & Services Coordinator and served as IT Project Manager for many years. She now serves as Director of Special Projects. 

Since joining the cooperative, Mi-Sun has coordinated hundreds of continuing education workshops and programs on a variety of subjects. She has also successfully managed the cooperative’s projects and services, including the Statewide Diversity Initiative Workshop Series, website development projects for member libraries, Gaming in Libraries Service, Tech is IT Conferences, Senior Spaces Project & Conference, GLBTI Conference, and many more. Mi-Sun has built the cooperative's website in Drupal (an open-source content management platform) and continuously works on updating and improving the cooperative’s online services. Mi-Sun chaired the MentorNJ Task Force from the statewide service's launch in 2015 until June 2022 and implemented the Virtual Guide to NJ Libraries and the Mentors' Directory. The Task Force launched online meet-ups and virtual programs on timely topics during the COVID-19 pandemic period. She now serves as the liaison for the LibraryLinkNJ Tech Advisory Group (L-TAG) to provide timely tech services and programs for libraries and manages statewide projects as assigned.

As the Director of Special Projects, Mi-Sun plays a key role in overseeing and managing critical projects that are aligned with the organization's mission and strategic objectives, and she ensures the success of both organizational and statewide projects.

Mi-Sun earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science and received her MLIS from Rutgers University. Before joining LLNJ, she worked at a non-profit organization and later as a Senior Librarian in the Ocean County Library System’s Tech Department. Mi-Sun is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
