Professional Development Alliance (PDA)

Professional Development Alliance (PDA)

The Professional Development Alliance (PDA) is a group of peer library consortia that are part of the International Coalition of Library Consortia (ICOLC). The goal of the PDA is to multiply the number of online professional development opportunities available to library staff by making select online PD freely available to all participating members. Members include such consortia as CARLI (Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois), NC LIVE (North Carolina’s statewide library cooperative), SEFLIN (South East Florida Library Network), and more!

As a PDA member, LibraryLinkNJ is able to both share our online professional development opportunities with other alliance members across the country and to offer our own members access to select professional development options hosted by other PDA consortia. The PDA specializes in offering PD that caters to the needs of academic library staff.

Select PDA webinars and online learning opportunities are freely available to library workers at all LibraryLinkNJ member institutions, and can be easily found on our events calendar, just like our traditional in-house programming!
