I am currently the Associate Director for the Piscataway Public Library in central NJ. I have worked in several positions here prior including as an Emerging Technologies Librarian and Head of Technology. In my current role, I have the opportunity to work on various library improvement projects, manage our library technology infrastructure, as well as work collaboratively across other departments in supporting both day-to-day services and public programming. I also work closely with our Director in support of various administrative responsibilities across the organization.
I have been working in public libraries for more than 16 years, having had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and initiatives through the libraries where I have worked, as well as statewide library organizations.
I was one of the primary principal organizers of the New Jersey Makers Day initiative and continue to support STEM and making in libraries. My real passion is in working with technology to support both library staff in accomplishing their goals, as well as those we serve everyday.
