About Me

I have a background in fine art, art history, museum studies, and library science.

At The Newark Public Library, I have been actively involved in the following areas:

  • Reference Service (2007-2016) - provided reference assistance to the community and statewide reference service to librarians throughout the state; developed research-level collections related to art and architecture; created handouts and pathfinders; offered reader's advisory; oversaw the graphic novel collection
  • Special Collections - process collections; create finding aids; respond to inquiries; lead tours; coordinate loans; acquire new materials;  curate exhibits; overall management of collections on-site and in offsite storage
  • Digital Initiatives - oversee the digital asset management system (CONTENTdm); seek new digitization opportunities and grants; collaborate and handle workflows with various Library departments and vendors; currently managing the migration of our digital archive into Islandora; implementation of ArchivesSpace
  • Website content and social media management
