About Me

I have a background in fine art, art history, and museum studies. I was formerly employed as a historical researcher during which time I visited many libraries and archives and developed a passion for them. Consequently, I decided to pursue an M.L.I.S.

At The Newark Public Library, I am actively involved in the following areas:

  • Reference Service - provide reference assistance to the community and statewide reference service to librarians throughout the state; develop research-level collections of art books; create handouts and pathfinders; offer reader's advisory; oversee the graphic novel collection
  • Special Collections - process collections; create finding aids; respond to inquiries; lead tours; coordinate loans; acquire new materials;  prepare exhibits; overall management of collections on-site and in off-site storage
  • Website content and social media management
