Fantasy Readers' Advisory: Exploring New Worlds

LibraryLinkNJ is proud to offer the next webinar in our series on genre reader's advisory, following successful programs on horror and romance readers' advisory. We are now highlighting fantasy, a genre with ongoing appeal. With several subgenres, from high fantasy to urban fantasy to romantasy, it can be difficult to know how to get started promoting this diverse genre to your community. Come learn why readers love fantasy and how you can promote it all year long.

About the Presenter:

Kristi Chadwick is a Consultant with the Massachusetts Library System, where she provides training, continuing education, and advisory services across the state. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Library & Information Science at Simmons University. A regular reviewer and writer for Library Journal, she has also served as LJ's science fiction and fantasy columnist since 2016.
