Conferences 101 will demystify the conference process - from proposals to participation - and help you make the most of the conference experiences available to you!

Writing Conference Proposals
Join Amy Penwell (NJASL), Joy Robinson (NJLA), and Darby Malvey (LLNJ) for the first event in our "Conferences 101" series!

Whether you're nervous about submitting a conference proposal for the very first time or a veteran proposal-writer looking to learn more about how conference committees make choices and evaluate proposals, this event is for you! Combined, our presenters have years of experience planning, attending, and presenting at conferences; we'll walk you through some basic tips and strategies for understanding what conference committees are looking for, how you can craft an appealing conference proposal, and how flexibility and creativity can help you find yourself at the mic for your next conference!

The series will continue! Keep an eye out for additional topics in the Conferences 101 series, including "Presenting at Conference 101" and "Attending a Conference 101!"
