Fill-in Librarian (Hourly) - Matawan Aberdeen Public Library

The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented librarian to join our friendly team. 

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Reference and readers’ advisory service for Adults, Children, and Teens
• Collection development
• Programming

Requirements:

• MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, or degree in progress
• Interest in emerging technologies and familiarity with current trends in public library service
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work with patrons of all ages
• Flexible schedule with availability on nights and weekends

Schedule: Fill-ins as needed; possible regular hours if schedule necessitates (to be determined)

Salary: $35.18/hour ($27.18/hour for MLIS students)
