Event Description

Registration for the Super Library Supervisor Workshop Fall Series FY2020 will open at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
We are also currently planning an additional workshop series in Spring 2020.
This series of training workshops in supervisory skills has been serving the New Jersey library community for 20 years.

Human Resources Basics That Every Supervisor Should Know AND Running Successful Meetings

Continental breakfast and networking from 9:00 to 9:30 am.
Location: Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municpal Plaza, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 (Middlesex County)
Target Audience:
- Library staff who are currently supervisors and have less than five years of supervisory experience.
- Participants MUST be actively working as a supervisor at the time the series begins.
- More experienced supervisors are welcome, if this is their first supervisory training.
This is a series of 4 workshops. Participants are required to attend all 4 workshops
Space is limited to 35 participants.
Deadline: Registration will close on Friday, July 19, 2019 or when the limit has been reached, whichever comes first. We will accept up to 50 registrants. 35 participants will be chosen from this group by lottery.
Cost: $275, inclusive of all course materials, continental breakfasts and lunches for all 4 sessions.
IMPORTANT:
Super Library Supervisor is extremely popular. We will be using the same equitable registration and lottery process implemented in past years:
- Registration will open at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 9th. We will take up to 50 registrants through Friday, July 19th
- Once we close registration, we will use a lottery process to select a final total of 35 workshop participants
- Registration only places you in the lottery. You will be notified after registration closes if you were successful or not in obtaining a place in the FY2020 Fall Series

LibraryLinkNJ subsidizes the cost of each class to make high-quality, low-cost training available to staff of member libraries. Please pay registration fees promptly when requested.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel up to ten 10 business days before a scheduled class/event without penalty and receive a credit for another class or a full refund. If you cancel less than ten days before, you are responsible for payment. The only exception is if LibraryLinkNJ cancels the class/event.
LibraryLinkNJ reserves the right to cancel any class/event that is less than 60% full within 7 business days of the class. If LibraryLinkNJ cancels a class, you will receive a credit toward another class or a full refund.
In the event of a class cancellation, we will make every attempt to notify you directly at least 48 hours in advance. Class/event cancellations due to snow or severe weather conditions will be listed on our main page. You may also call LibraryLinkNJ at 732-752-7720 after 7AM on the day of the class.
