Thank You – LLNJ Membership Meeting

As the 2019-2020 year comes to a close the LibraryLinkNJ Executive Board and Interim Executive Director extend our thanks to the membership, the New Jersey State Library and our partner organizations across the state. We value your support and everyone’s efforts responding to the current health crisis and reinventing services during this unprecedented time. We also thank the LLNJ staff for their dedicated service and flexibility. It has been an honor to serve the NJ library community.

We appreciate those that participated in LLNJ’s first online Annual Membership Meeting on June 17, 2020. While much thought and planning went into the meeting process and the technical aspects for voting, we recognize there is room for improvement.

Here are the results of the ballot items on the agenda of our June 17, 2020 meeting.

We welcome feedback from the meeting and are working to address all concerns for our next Membership meeting which we anticipate will again be an online event. The next meeting will be held within three months to adopt a budget for the remainder of the new fiscal year.

Please be assured that the format for that upcoming meeting will be adjusted to ensure for the making of public comments in a more structured, consistent and communicative process.

This has been a valuable learning experience and LLNJ is committed to providing the best possible process and opportunity for participation.
