Super Library Supervisor Workshop Series FY2021
Event Description

Registration for the Super Library Supervisor Workshop Spring Series FY2021 will open at 7:00 AM on Monday, March 8, 2021.
This series of training workshops in supervisory skills has been serving the New Jersey library community for 20 years. Now, for the first time, our workshop series will be fully virtual, allowing participants to engage with the series from the safety and comfort of their own homes or libraries. To allow for more participants, we are also offering two identical workshop series, available on different dates.

Self Care for Supervisors and Communications and Resolving Staff Conflict
- Series A: Monday, May 10th, 10AM - 3PM
- Series B: Wednesday, May 12th, 10AM - 3PM

Running Successful Meetings and Human Resources Basics That Every Supervisor Should Know
- Series A: Tuesday, May 18th, 10AM - 3PM
- Series B: Wednesday, May 19th, 10AM - 3PM
Workshops wil be conducted via Zoom. Login information and links will be shared with attendees prior to each workshop date. Each workshop date will include a scheduled 1 hour lunch break between topics.
Target Audience:
- Library staff who are currently supervisors and have less than five years of supervisory experience.
- Participants MUST be actively working as a supervisor at the time the series begins.
- More experienced supervisors are welcome, if this is their first supervisory training.
This is a series of 4 workshops. Participants are required to attend all 4 workshops
Space is limited to 35 participants per series.
Deadline: Registration will close on Friday, April 2, 2021 or when the limit has been reached, whichever comes first. We will accept up to 100 registrants. 35 participants per series (70 total) will be chosen from this group by lottery.
Cost: $159, inclusive of all courses and digital copies of all course materials.

PLEASE - do not make make a payment or request an invoice until after you have been officially notified by an email from LibraryLinkNJ that you have successfully won a place through the lottery process. See below for details on registration and the lottery.

LibraryLinkNJ subsidizes the cost of each class to make high-quality, low-cost training available to staff of member libraries. Please pay registration fees promptly when requested.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel up to ten 10 business days before a scheduled class/event without penalty and receive a credit for another class or a full refund. If you cancel less than ten days before, you are responsible for payment. The only exception is if LibraryLinkNJ cancels the class/event.
LibraryLinkNJ reserves the right to cancel any class/event that is less than 60% full within 7 business days of the class. If LibraryLinkNJ cancels a class, you will receive a credit toward another class or a full refund.
In the event of a class cancellation, we will make every attempt to notify you directly at least 48 hours in advance. Class/event cancellations due to snow or severe weather conditions will be listed on our main page. You may also call LibraryLinkNJ at 732-752-7720 after 7AM on the day of the class.
