Event Description

Registration for the Super Library Supervisor Workshop Series Spring 2018 will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
This series of training workshops in supervisory skills has been serving the New Jersey library community for over 15 years.

Continental breakfast and networking from 9:00 to 9:30 am.
Location: Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municpal Plaza, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 (Middlesex County)
Target Audience:
- Library staff who are currently supervisors and have less than five years of supervisory experience.
- Participants MUST be actively working as a supervisor at the time the series begins.
- More experienced supervisors are welcome, if this is their first supervisory training.
This is a series of 4 workshops. Participants are required to attend all 4 workshops
Space is limited to 30 participants.
Deadline: Registration will close on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 or when the limit has been reached, whichever comes first. We will accept up to 50 registrants. 30 participants will be chosen from this group by lottery.
Cost: $199, inclusive of all course materials, continental breakfasts and lunches for all 4 sessions.
IMPORTANT:
Super Library Supervisor is extremely popular and space is limited to 30 participants to maintain a high level of quality in each workshop. We will be using the same equitable registration and lottery process implemented in 2016:
- Registration will open at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 14th. We will take up to 50 initial registrants through Tuesday, March 6th
- Once we close registration, we will use a lottery process to select a final total of 30 workshop participants.
- Registration only places you in the lottery. You will be notified after registration closes if you were successful or not in obtaining a place in the Spring Series
- There will be a limit of up to 2 participants from any library organization

LibraryLinkNJ subsidizes the cost of each class to make high-quality, low-cost training available to staff of member libraries. Please pay registration fees promptly when requested.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel up to ten 10 business days before a scheduled class/event without penalty and receive a credit for another class or a full refund. If you cancel less than ten days before, you are responsible for payment. The only exception is if LibraryLinkNJ cancels the class/event.
LibraryLinkNJ reserves the right to cancel any class/event that is less than 60% full within 7 business days of the class. If LibraryLinkNJ cancels a class, you will receive a credit toward another class or a full refund.
In the event of a class cancellation, we will make every attempt to notify you directly at least 48 hours in advance. Class/event cancellations due to snow or severe weather conditions will be listed on our main page. You may also call LibraryLinkNJ at 732-752-7720 after 7AM on the day of the class.
