Ann Hoang

Ann Hoang currently serves as the University Librarian and chief administrator for the NJIT Library. She also serves as Chair of the VALE Executive Committee. Ann has over 30 years of experience working in academic libraries, primarily in administration, management, and systems/IT. She received her degrees (BA, MLS, and MBA) from Rutgers University. Her primary work focuses on user satisfaction, service and process evaluation, library systems and technologies, and workflow design analysis. She strives to maintain a service balance by encouraging libraries to implement emergent technologies appropriately and keep library tools and resources relevant and functioning effectively in support of the library user community.
