The classes meet 3-4 times every week. Check the library's calendar for this month’s schedule.

Hackensack is a city that’s welcoming to immigrants from all over the world. Because of this, the need for regular, reliable and affordable English as a Second Language classes is more important than ever. Though there are several low-cost options available all through town, here at JPL we do our part by conducting our own English Conversation Classes.

These classes are geared for students who consider themselves high-intermediate or advanced, and are looking for a way to practice conversational English in a friendly environment. Because of the small scope of these classes they are limited to the first 5 people who show up AND are open to Hackensack residents only. The classes are lead by Michelle Acosta, who is fluent in English and en Espanol.

Michelle would love to answer any questions you have. You can reach her at (201) 343-4169 x34 and at
