Courtney Mercurio

I started working at Lannom Library in 2017 as a part-time circulation staff member. I was promoted to Children's Librarian in July 2018 at the Coffee County Manchester Public Library. I transferred back to Lannom to be the Assistant Director in March 2021, became Interim-Director in October 2021 and finally was made Director in January 2023.

I always wanted to become the Director someday, but I had no idea it would happen that quickly. 

Since taking over I have made a lot of progress in updating...everything! Policies, the collection, and definitely the building. I'm really excited about the impact the changes are making on our community and I can't wait to see where we go from here.
