About Me

My name is Robert Krack and I have worked for the Rutgers University Libraries for over 20 years. My main responsibility is managing the collections of the Alexander Library. Our department is in charge of all shelving, searching for missing books and books still in transit to or from the building, and moving the physical collections to reallocate space for growth.

I have invented a means to keep track of the remaining space in our classed collections, and it can also be used to calculate future collection shifts. We share this information freely with other institutions upon request. Please let me know if you would like this information to use in your library system.
