I demystify big projects and the research process to help students (and often faculty) focus on a project plan and reorient themselves when things go off course. I'm a subject specialist who gives practical advice to people who need it. I'm the editor and co-founder of the peer reviewed academic Journal of Graduate Librarianship and host the biannual international conference, Transforming Libraries for Graduate Students. As a humanities person, I've had an untold amount of jobs, three major careers (this is the last one) and learned every single thing in my life the hard way. That's why I'm glad to help others with advice and knowledge I wish I'd had about career paths, publications, etc.
