What’s expected of LLNJ Board members?

The LLNJ Executive Board is both a governance and a working board. This means that, in addition to being representatives of LibraryLinkNJ, our board members dedicate some of their time or resources working on organizational projects, based on their expertise and interest.

Board members are expected to attend board meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 2:30 PM. Board meetings are currently being held via Zoom with occasional in-person meetings.

Furthermore, as part of a working board, LLNJ Board members are expected to dedicate about 4 hours per month working on LLNJ business by serving on Board committees. This includes attending remote meetings with fellow board members and relevant follow-up tasks.

Once elected, LLNJ Board members serve a three-year term. Board members serve without compensation.
