Benefits of Inclusion in the Workplace

LibraryLinkNJ is proud to offer a webinar on inclusive hiring and navigating bias during the recruiting and hiring process. Job seekers now desire a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard, and represented. This session will go into the ideas and importance of how to get started on the right foot with your recruitment, hiring process, and job postings.

This program, presented by a current HR professional, will cover everything from development inclusive job descriptions—without ableist and age-coded language—to ensuring that your library is demonstrating a commitment to EDI. This presentation will leave you more empowered to write inclusive job descriptions for a diverse workplace,  ensuring that you are making a strong impact on the talent you attract.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Improve hiring and recruiting practices
  • Create more inclusive job postings
  • Ensuring your interviews are successful for the candidate and for you

This presentation will not be recorded, but there will be an opportunity for Q&A.

About the Presenter:
