Leadership Lab. Preparation and Exploration for New and Aspiring Leaders

LibraryLinkNJ invites all interested members of the New Jersey library community to join us for a brand-new, three-part certificated program designed to equip emerging leaders with the skills, confidence, and self-awareness needed to step into supervisory and leadership roles!

Through interactive workshops, opportunities to connect with their peers, and optional personalized one-to-one coaching, participants will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the roles of managers and leaders.
  • Strengthen key skills essential for effective supervision.
  • Explore whether leadership aligns with their personal and professional goals.
  • Earn certification demonstrating their readiness to lead and supervise.
  • The program includes skill-building workshops on: Adaptability & Resilience, Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving, and Communication & Relationship Building

Participants can also take part in Aspiring Leaders Roundtables to chat about what they’ve learned, share challenges they’re facing, and connect with other up-and-coming leaders.

This program is designed for anyone ready to move to the next level in their career by building the skills and mindset needed to lead effectively.
