Descriptions

A computer chip displays the text Libraries & Information Literacy in the AI Age.

This webinar explores how artificial intelligence ("AI") is transforming the way information is created, shared, and consumed - and what that means for librarians and their role in promoting information literacy. We'll discuss the value of traditional information literacy skills and their continued importance while also looking at the new challenges presented by AI. Topics will include AI-generated content, bias, and disinformation/misinformation. This will be an interactive session with lots of opportunity for discussion in the chat, as well as a dedicated 30-minute Q&A session after the initial presentation.

This webinar is brought to you by
LibraryLinkNJ & LibraryLinkNJ Tech Advisory Group (L-TAG)
