Our membership meeting is open to all member library staff, but space is limited and you must register. You don’t need to be a Voting Representative to attend.
The meeting will be recorded and will be made available for all LLNJ members to view.

Special Program: As we face ongoing budget challenges at all levels of government, a new kind of advocacy approach is key in building support among elected and other officials who control your finances. That starts with understanding the theories behind both advocacy and activism. This session will explore strategies and tactics used by some of the best community organizers, political action committees, and politicians. We will emphasize the resources and skills that Librarians and Library staff need to develop if they want to have the political and community support needed to increase funding.
