Descriptions

LLNJ Skill Sharing Conversation

Topic: Skill-Sharing Conversation: Sustainable Crafts & Projects

Sustainability is a core value of the American Library Association and libraries, and library patrons of all ages are becoming ever more interested in sustainability and self-reliance topics. Additionally, libraries are enhancing their programming to embrace this topic by organizing instructional workshops and creating sustainable crafts? But what do sustainable crafts and projects look like in action for your library, and how can you promote them all year long?

Are you interested in learning more about sustainable crafts, but unsure where to start? Or, are you interested in developing Earth Day-related crafts and programs, but need ideas and inspiration?

Feel free to learn from library colleagues across the state as we share our ideas for sustainable crafts, projects, and initiatives. All are welcome!

Moderator: Veronique Paillard-Baumann, Cranford Public Library

Date & Time: Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 11AM-12PM
