Meetup Description

During the meetup, we can discuss how our different libraries handle specific technology needs, what some of the challenges of technology can be in our libraries for staff and patrons, discuss any new trends or ideas we might have for technology implementations or projects at our libraries, resources for keeping abreast of emerging technologies, as well as ideas for public service, instruction and delivery of service regarding technology related content.

Plainsboro Library hosts a weekly ESL conversational class with an instructor every Monday night, 7-8:30 pm.  No registration necessary, just drop in and practice your conversational skills.    On Thursday nights from 6:30 - 8:15 pm we host an ESL PALS (Plainsboro American Language Social) Club for adults who want a forum for additional conversational practice amongst each other and native English speakers.  Send an email to eslplainsborolibary [at] gmail.com if interested in joining the PALS Club.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Wednesday, September 16, 2015 OR Friday, September 18, 2015 from 10 a.m.—2 p.m.

Classes are held Wednesdays from 9 a.m.—12 Noon (higher level) & 12 Noon—3 p.m. (lower level)
and Fridays 11 a.m.—12:30 p.m. or 12:30—2 p.m.

Citizenship classes are Fridays from 9 a.m.—11 a.m.

Evening Classes at the East Brunswick High School

REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Wednesday, September 9, 2015 OR Wednesday September 16, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.

Classes held Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m.

ESL conversation groups are held on Tuesday evenings for 13 weeks each spring and fall. Students are tested and placed with others with similar literacy skills. All groups are lead by trained volunteers. No charge for classes or materials. Pre-registration available to Old Bridge adult residents only - open to all adults, if seats still available, after classes start.
