Conducting Successful Advocacy Meetings

This seminar will give participants strategies and skills to lead engaging, interactive, and outcome-driven advocacy meetings. This is offered only as a 5-hour seminar.

During the seminar, participants will:

  • Enhance their professional presence; including eye contact, body language, and vocal projection
  • Practice listening skills
  • Work with a conversational framework to build collaboration and co-develop actionable outcomes
  • Learn to handle questions and objections during a meeting

Advanced preparation: Participants will be asked to fill-out an advocacy meeting scenario to bring to the seminar.

Activities will include: Briefings, reflective exercises, role plays with a partner, small group work, individual coaching, and large group discussions.

Special Note: This program is limited to 25 participants. The minimum is 20 participants.
