Maryann James-Daley

Maryann James-Daley is the Web and Social Media Librarian at DC Public Library. Before earning her MLS and starting at DCPL in 2012, she worked as an editor, web producer, social media strategist – and, briefly, dating columnist – at newspapers such as The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun and Newsday. She edits and creates web content for dclibrary.org, and leads strategy and training for DC Public Library’s online spaces. She loves diving into what’s new and cool online, and is passionate about the power of technology to empower underserved communities and make a better world.
