Protecting Your Digital Footprint at Work and Home:
20 Tips on ID Theft in 40 Minutes
The social networking sites, search engines, and computers you use at work, in public and at home all reveal considerable information about you and the business of your library - your digital footprint. Identity theft and fraud are on the rise, but many libraries do not protect their own privacy or that of their customers and staff using public computers. Learn about forms of ID theft that threaten privacy at work and home, and discover ways to better protect your digital footprint.
By the end of this program, you will be able to:
- Analyze ID safety issues in your library
- Apply safeguards and remove unwanted information
- Connect to and retrieve additional tools and resources.
Voting (Business Meeting): 3:15-4:00 PM
The Executive Board and Executive Director will post for Voting Representative review and action:
- a proposed FY12 slate of Executive Board members
- a proposed strategic plan
- a proposed FY12 budget
Action item materials are posted under "Event Files" above.
