Part-Time Administrative Assistant at Oradell Public Library (Bergen County)

Oradell Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and well organized part-time Administrative Assistant starting immediately 

 

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

 

  • Administration, office management, and assistance to the Director.

 

  • Participation with team responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing materials in the circulation delivery system in conjunction with the circulation staff as needed.

 

  • Assistance to Director and Friends of the Library in public relations for advocacy and programming

 

Experience and Education Required:

  • A minimum of two (2) years clerical work in an office environment.

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

 

  • Working knowledge of the BCCLS system preferred.

 

Hours and Salary:

  • Part-time (25 hours per week), Monday through Friday with possible weekend

hours as needed, requested by the Director. 

  • Hourly wage based on qualifications and as determined and accepted.
