Challenges to library materials are increasing. Is your library prepared? How can you proactively address objections or requests for reconsideration of library materials? Join us as we discuss the importance of creating a sound collection development policy, developing an action plan for staff response, and gaining support of library boards or trustees. We will also share how we have handled recent challenges.

Come ready to share with and learn from your library colleagues across the state as we discuss issues of intellectual freedom, and how to be prepared for bans and challenges before they arise. All are welcome!
