About Me

I have worked in libraries since 2013, starting in Circulation, then moved to Youth Services in 2015. Since becoming a manager, I've mostly focused on working with teens, though I oversee programming, collections, outreach, etc. for ages 0-18 here at UPL.

I'm a former NJLA Emerging Leader and I'm currently part of LUCCYS (Libraries of Union County Youth Services) and NJLA's Young Adult Services Section, as well as UPL's Green Team, as we work toward a Sustainable Libraries Certification. I'm also a huge nonfiction/trivia fan and have been a Garden State Teen Book Awards nonfiction reader for the past few years. My dream job would be to write Jeopardy clues or be a researcher for the show, but I'd say being a librarian scratches that itch. Every day is an adventure in some way and you're always learning new things. Feel free to pick my brain!
