Mary Beth Weber

Mary Beth has been a professional librarian for thirty-eight years. She began her career in a small university library before joining the staff of Rutgers University Libraries. She has coordinated both acquisitions and cataloging, and currently serves as the head of Central Technical Services.at Rutgers.  She served as editor of both the ALCTS Newsletter Online and the peer-reviewed journal Library Resources and Technical Services. She's the co-author of Virtual Technical Services: A Handbook and has published several other books.

Mary Beth earned a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Mentoring is one of her interests and she’s happy to serve on the MentorNJ Task Force.
