Emerging Technology Librarian

Paul Montanez works as Burlington County Library HQ’s Emerging Technology Librarian. At BCLS, his role is to assist staff with implementing emerging technologies in their programs. In addition, he develops technology training sessions for staff and patrons as well as providing reference desk assistance to patrons. Currently he is working on implementing virtual reality programming for BCLS. Prior to this, he worked as a Library Assistant at the Ocean County Library system for 2 years gaining experience in circulation and reference services in medium and large sized branches while pursuing his Master of Science in Library Science degree. He has earned a bachelor's degree in historical studies at Stockton University of New Jersey and studied library science at Pennsylvania Western University Clarion.
