About Me

My name is David Lisa. I’m a library administrator and pop culture expert living in New Jersey. I am the Associate Director of the Camden County Library System. Previously I was a Project Specialist for the New Jersey State Library where I specialized in adult services and urban libraries, the Director of the West Long Branch Public Library, a reference librarian at Wayne Public Library and an Access Services Librarian at Mercyhurst College's Hammermill Library. I hold a Master of Science in Library Science Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I have taught at the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information and the Clarion University of Pennsylvania School of Library Science. I have presented nationally on various topics including the evolving state of e-reading, collection development in public libraries and handheld technology. I enjoy writing, social media, video games, home theater, comics and graphic novels. I like Chinese cuisine and Japanese culture and I am proud to have lived in 25 different places in my life.
