About Me

I was promoted to Branch Manager of the Hilton Branch in December 2016.  I manage the day to day operations of the branch including information, circulation, collections, outreach and programming services.  I'm also responsible for all resources including the Create Space (the Library's makerspace), offering of technology classes as well as promoting and managing the ESOL services.

Prior to becoming Branch Manager I was the Head of Teen Services at the Maplewood Memorial Library for almost 3 years. My responsibilities included programming, collection development, readers advisory and reference for tweens and teens.  I also acted as the Library’s liaison to the middle and high schools as well as local non-profits who provide teen services.  I spearheaded the Library's makerspace.  Prior to my present position, I was the Young Adult Librarian for 3 years and a Children's Librarian for approximately 4 years.  I received my MLIS from Rutgers and am a member of NJLA’s YA Services Section.  My previous work experience was in banking.
