Hello there! My name is Laura and most of my experience lies in the academic library. I spend most of my time teaching research instruction classes. My area of focus is in DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging). I regularly present and research in this area, including a focus on white culture in libraries. I am a first generation college professor and a member of the Latine community. In my free time, I am a vegetarian, rescue dog mom of two, meditation teacher, reiki master teacher, and lover of true-crime podcasts.
