About Me

I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Lock Haven University. I taught kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade.  I then proceeded to get a position as a children's librarian in a public library so Iwent back to school and achieved my MLS from Rutgers University. I worked in public library systems for 11 years.  I then got a position in a school district as the media specialist/language arts teacher before becoming a full time librarian/media specialist. I have been in school districts in this capacity for the past 16 years. The first 12 have been in elementary schools and the past 4 have been in high schools. I love books and being in a school setting so this career fits me perfectly.  I love to read, especially realistic fiction.  I am patient and adapt well to new situations. I love my current position and would love to help anyone that I can. Perhaps, we can help each other because my weakness is technology.
