I have over 15 years of experience in school librarianship, both at the high school and elementary levels, and under both fixed and flexible schedules. I am passionate about connecting students with our library and libraries writ large, so they can connect with reading, develop strong information literacy, and freely explore their own passions and creativity. I am a vocal advocate for students' access to strong school libraries with certified school librarians, and the Freedom to Read. I also represent my school district on our public library's board of trustees.
