Adult Craft Show and Share Fall 2025

Programming library staff who serve adult patrons are invited to join us for a Show & Share event! Show off your successful adult crafting ideas, get inspired by your colleagues from around the state, and even share or swap your leftover craft materials at this in-person event brought to you by LibraryLinkNJ and the Hunterdon County Library System! Registration is limited to 50 participants. 

Planning craft events at your library for an adult population can leave you struggling to find options that are achievable, affordable, and appealing. Join us to show off what has worked for you (or to warn us about what hasn’t) and refresh your own program plans with ideas from others. Plus, bring your leftover craft supplies and unused materials to share in our Swap Shop; you’ll give your old materials new life and maybe even head back to your own library with some new-to-you supplies to put to good use!

Event Schedule

10-10:30AM: Coffee, Registration & Conversation

10:30AM - 11:30AM: Show

• Attendees are invited to show off successful adult craft projects to the group
• Show us a sample, share your tips and tricks, and answer questions from your fellow attendees
• 5 minutes (or less!) per project
• Those wishing to show off crafts will be asked to sign up in advance; look for an email following the close of event registration!

11:30AM - 12:30PM: Share

• The craft "swap shop" is open!
• Attendees are encouraged to bring any leftover, unused craft supplies to place in the swap shop
• Make connections and network with fellow programming library staff as you peruse the "shop"
• Share materials, suggestions, and lessons learned - plus, head back to your library with some new-to-you ideas and supplies

12:30 - 1PM: Wrap Up and Next Steps

If you don't have a craft to share or materials to swap, don't worry! Library staff looking to get inspired are still welcome to join us, though this event will be most successful with lots of attendee participation.
